Accu-Feed
In 1996, ASG developed the Accu-Feed Catheter, Wire, and Tube (CWT) Feeder. This machine was developed to feed catheters one at a time into a centerless grinding process. With the Accu-Feed in place, operators load batches of pre-cut catheters, tubes, or wire into a hopper bin, from which the machine uses a specially designed pick head to gently pick them and feed them to a downstream process. The Accu-Feed family has grown to include a complete range of machines for feeding catheters, wires, and coils into grinding, extrusion, marking, assembly, and testing machines. Customers report dramatic improvements in productivity, capacity, quality and consumables costs once they’ve integrated one of these machines to replace their existing manually operated processes.Click an image to view High Resolution images from the Accu-Feed family of products.
Standard Feeders
- AGF: Guidewire feeding, grinding and cutting has never been easier with the new Advanced Guidewire feeder with in-line cutter.
- GWF 410: The Accu-Feed GWF 410 Guidewire Feed System provides automatic handling of wires for taper or barrel grinding into centerless grinder at rates up to 2.25 seconds exchange time.
- 110: Barcode Setup,loading and saving recipies, and ergonomic touchscreen controls make the 110 a great addition to any production line.
- CPF: When a smaller footprint is needed, the Center Pick Feeder, at only two feet long, iis the best choice to very precisely feed tubing and wires. A 6ft attachable tray is available as an option for longer tubing and wiring needs.
