News: 07.30.10 - New Product

ASG is pleased to announce the introduction of the AGF-5mv Advanced Guidewire Feeder for Royal Master Gen V grinders. This system integrates the RMG Eye-bar wire tracking camera directly into ASG’s automated feeder, providing fully automated and robust feeding of stainless steel and Nitinol guidewires up to 5 meters long. The AGF-5mv follows the AGF-3mv that was released in January for wires up to 3 meters. Like all AGF feeders it uses ASG’s proprietary side shift technology for extremely fast exchange times even on the longest wires. The machine is extremely compact, with a footprint just inches longer than 5 meters. It features a high resolution color touchscreen, and wheels for easy installation. ASG Medical Systems is proud to announce our new CT-XL!This new addition to our Accu-Cut Family is similar to the 202LPD, but is different in a very fundamental way: The CT-XL is capable of cutting a tubing of up to 1 inch in diameter! Click here to read more.

Given numerous customer requests, ASG has extended its tube cutting expertise into the world of extra large (XL) tubing. We now have the ability to precisely and squarely cut tubing up to 1” diameter for either on-line or stand-alone operations! Dependent upon your materials, this may require the use of our new Caterpillar Drive (CT) system, and can be designed for either horizontal or vertical operations. Both of these great new technologies are fully incorporated into our industry workhorse 202L platform and is now designated the 202CT-XL. News: 09.17.09 - New ASG Web Site!

Welcome to our new ASG web site designed especially to serve both our customers and future customers! Please note that we’ve organized each of our machines into families for you to better understand what they do and the capability differences between them. Each machine has its own product page on which you can find both a specifications brochure and a video of the machine in action. You can choose to either open the brochures and videos on the web or you can download them for future reference and to share with your colleagues. We’ve also made it very easy to navigate the site through the integrated search of our site, through the plentiful links and drop down menus, through the media, site map, and product pages, or clicking on the family page and determining which machine most fits your needs. We will be continuing to provide news and updates regarding ASG and our new technologies for you and have attempted to make it as easy as possible for you to contact us, our international reps, our strategic partners. As always, there is room for improvement, so please don’t hesitate to let us know through the links on the contact page how we can continue to improve to serve you. News: 08.25.09 - ASG Has “Gone Digital”

ASG has cut-over to the “fully digital” communications world on 8/25/09 through the upgrade of our existing phone service and network. This upgrade allows us to better serve our customers with an “auto-attendant” phone system that provides our customers choices for a direct connection to the individual or department they desire within ASG. Additionally, this new digital network permits us to introduce further customer service improvements upon which we are currently working. News: 05.25.09 - Staffing Update

As ASG Medical Systems continues to grow, we are excited to announce Trent Steckler has rejoined the company as our new Engineering Manager. Trent started with ASG in 1993 and continued as part of the management team until ASG Medical Systems buyout from Tyco Electronics in 2002. At that time, Trent moved with Tyco Electronics to Pennsylvania to head their Automation Division. ASG welcomes Trent’s return to Florida, bringing back his wealth of technical knowledge, management experience, and leadership ability. We are very pleased to have Trent with us again, and we look forward to his positive and wide ranging impact on our customers, including new technology initiatives, documentation to delivery improvements, and enhanced customer service. Welcome aboard, Trent!

The Heavy Duty Low Tension Dereeler (HD LTD) is the latest and greatest in dereeling technology and the newest member of our Accu-Reel family. The HD LTD is a computer controlled dereeler designed to provide low force, constant tension payout of tubing into a high volume, critical tolerance manufacturing operation, such as our Accu-Cut medical tubing cutters. The Advanced Guidewire Feeder (AGF) with in-line cutter introduces a “cut-to-length” capability for automated guidewire grinding and can make 10 or more guidewires from a single input wire. This AGF, paired with your centerless grinder, can now feed, grind, and cut your guidewires to precise lengths from 10-400 cm.
